Apply via Dice today!We are looking for Senior Manufacturing Technician for our client in Minnetonka, MNJob Title: Senior Manufacturing TechnicianJob Location: Minnetonka, MNJob Type: ContractJob Overview:The Sr. Manufacturing Technician supports operations on the production floor, assisting with manufacturing processes, equipment support, process improvements, and new product introductions. This role ensures smooth production flow while driving quality, safety, and efficiency improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment.Requirement/Must Have:High school diploma, trade school certification, or equivalent training in Electronics or Engineering Technology required.Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing technician experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to train and support production assemblers.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Experience:5+ years of manufacturing or production support experience required.Experience working with cross-functional teams in manufacturing environments.Experience in process improvement, equipment support, and production troubleshooting.Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.Experience in lean manufacturing principles preferred.Responsibilities:Support manufacturing operations and production equipment.Assist with process improvements, cost reduction, and new product introductions.Train and guide production personnel on manufacturing and testing processes.Recommend improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Analyze test data and support yield improvement initiatives.Assist maintenance and engineering teams with equipment troubleshooting.Investigate root causes through scrap dissection and analysis.Ensure smooth communication across shifts and departments.Support compliance with FDA, QMS, EMS, and company regulations.Maintain documentation and report production issues accurately.Should Have:Strong leadership and coaching ability.Lean manufacturing knowledge.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Skills:Manufacturing process supportLean manufacturing principlesEquipment troubleshootingData analysis and reportingTraining and coaching production staffQuality and safety compliance (FDA/QMS/EMS)Cross-functional communicationProblem-solving and root cause analysisQualification And Education:High school diploma or trade school certification required.Electronics or Engineering Technology background preferred.Medical device experience is a plus.
