Patient Sitter

We are seeking a Patient Sitter, also referred to as a Patient Observer in our Nursing Administration department. The Patient Sitter in our hospital provides continuous one-on-one observation and support to patients who require close monitoring to ensure their safety. Sitters do not perform clinical procedures but play a vital role in patient safety and support, especially for patients with cognitive impairments, delirium, or high fall risk. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/ PRN as needed.
