Residence Director - Siena University
Location: Loudonville, New York.
Job description:
Residence Director – 11‑month live‑in position, starting July 1. Strengthen intellectual and personal growth opportunities for the residential community.
Administration of residence halls/facilities housing 250‑600 students
Selection, training and supervision of paraprofessional staff
Advising residents on issues related to residence hall life and their personal, social and academic development and making appropriate referrals as needed
Planning educational and social programs
Developing and enforcing policy
Adjudicating student conduct policy violations
Serving as a member of an on‑call duty rotation
Participating on division and campus‑wide committees
Requirements:
Required qualifications
Previous experience working in student affairs or residence life
Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work a non‑traditional work schedule in a team‑oriented setting
Ability to live on campus
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, or related field
Previous experience in residence life, particularly as a Residence Director
Additional information:
