The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Level Electro-Electromagnetics Engineer - Scientist to join the E3 Design Integration Team located in Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.BDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs and weapons. BDS delivers the most digitally advanced, simply and efficiently produced and intelligently supported solutions to its customers.Louis E3 Design Integration Team is responsible for various tasks including but not limited to analysis, concept development, design implementation, and verification tasks on various Boeing Defense programs. The position requires interfacing with multiple disciplines across The Boeing Company (Engineering, Product Support, Manufacturing, etc.), external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels of the organization to manage compliance to design integration requirements.Innovative Environment: Collaborate with a diverse group of talented professionals who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and engineering excellence.~ Benefit from mentorship opportunities, tuition reimbursement program, and a culture that encourages continuous learning and innovation.Develop and validate electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems, subsystems, components, interconnects and structures.Develop architectures to integrate components into higher level systems and platforms.Performs trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of computational electromagnetic (CEM) analysis to predict component and interconnects performance and to optimize design around established requirements.Defines and Conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.Supports supplier electromagnetic testing for compliance with procedures and standardsCollects and analyzes data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by recommending engineering solutions to issuesSupports project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project statusWorks under general supervision and directionSecret Security Clearance for which the U.An interim and/or final U.Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementLevel 2: 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's, or work-related experience with a MastersFamiliar with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) or E3 (Electromagnetic Environmental Effects)Willing to Travel Domestically and internationally as needed up to 25%Active US Security ClearanceS Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or PhysicsExperience with relevant aircraft electromagnetic standards: Experience in Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the militaryExperience performing computational electromagnetic analysis (FEKO, Cosite, ANSYS, CST)Experience with MS Office tool suiteExperience working within an engineering organizationExperience with lightning testing and analysisThis position has a signing bonus potentialTypical Education for Lead Level:~ Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
