Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling precision fluid power components using a variety of tools and technical drawings. Your expertise will ensure that each product meets strict quality standards and specifications, contributing to the efficiency and success of our manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
* Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and production documents to accurately assemble components
* Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify dimensions and tolerances
* Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools to assemble parts efficiently and safely
* Conduct mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering and machining as required by project specifications
* Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to shop safety guidelines
* Perform manual handling of parts and assemblies, ensuring proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
* Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards
Skills
* Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly processes
* Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math for precise measurements
* Experience with mechanical blueprint interpretation and production document comprehension
* Familiarity with soldering, machining, pneumatic tools, power tools, and specialized industrial tools
* Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for assembly tasks
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes including mechanical assembly and shop safety procedures
* Capable of manual handling tasks while maintaining safety standards
