Senior HR Generalist
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveSenior HR Generalistto manage and oversee various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our company culture and ensuring a positive employee experience. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish. Hours of operation are flexible and may consist of either four days per week from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or five days per week from 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM. We are open to discussing and adjusting schedules to accommodate the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring. Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and attract top talent. Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles. Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a seamless transition for employees. Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention. HR Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies. Maintain and update employee records, handbooks, and HR policies. Benefits & Payroll Support: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, PTO, and retirement plans. Manage weekly payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping. Performance Management & Training: Support performance evaluation processes and provide guidance to managers on employee development. Organize training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities. Schedule training sessions and maintain training videos for all employees to ensure consistent access to learning materials and ongoing development resources. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the financial services or business funding industry. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations. Proficiency in HR software, preferable ADP Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
