Shop HandSUMMARYThe Shop Hand is responsible for the daily duties related to general shop and facilities upkeep and maintenance. Will assist the Rig Up/Down Crew.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESClean and organize the shop and surrounding areas to include the wash padPerform standard facilities maintenance to ensure that facility is in working orderAssist with general repair of tong cylinders, plug valves, slips, etc. and maintenance of equipmentInstall and maintain equipmentAssist in the loading and unloading of supplies and equipmentGather and deliver necessary equipment and parts to rig locationPerform inventory checks of the parts cage to ensure that correct equipment is available for useTrack and issue work uniforms to employeesOther duties as assigned.
