Metal Casting Machine Setter–Operator (Die Casting)

If yes, this role is for you.Here’s the dealPay: $18–$26.25 HourlySchedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00AM-4:30AMBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and more; 401K with company match; PTO and sick time; 11 Paid Company Holidays; Tuition Reimbursement; Career advancementWhat you’ll take onSet up, operate, and adjust one or more die casting machines according to approved processes.Install dies on machines/presses; position and secure workpieces; load inserts when required.Start cycles, hand spray dies, and keep the line moving safely.Remove hot castings using hand tools and air hoses; trim flash and de-flash dies/parts.Inspect visually and with measuring tools to verify dimensions and surfaces meet spec.Monitor automatic/manual operation, catch malfunctions early, and make instructed adjustments.Record production transactions, work time, and periodic process readings for effectiveness tracking.Sort and place finished product into the right containers for downstream operations.Work to OSHA standards and follow Pace Industries safety rules as outlined in the employee manual.What helps you succeedUnderstanding of die design basics—gates, runners, venting—or the desire to learn fast.Reliable communicator who follows instructions and adapts quickly.Comfort with calipers/gauges and basic math for measurements.Quality-first mindset with strong attention to detail.Preferred backgroundHigh School Diploma desired.Some vocational training desired.Experience meeting set production rates.Physical requirementsOccasionally move parts up to 30 lbs.Why PaceWe’re building the premier die casting manufacturer and engineering solutions partner worldwide.
