Maintenance Supervisor
Cunningham Childrens Home is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our buildings and grounds across campus and agency-operated properties. This position plays a key role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained to support the children, families, and staff we serve.The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate maintenance operations, supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff, and manage vendors and contractors for repairs and facility services.Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with one hour unpaid lunch, rotating on call schedule.About UsCunningham is an exemplary child welfare and educational services agency that provides caring support and therapeutic intervention to more than 953 children, youth, young adults and families each year through comprehensive programs including residential treatment, special education and community-based services.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise general maintenance and housekeeping in Cunningham Childrens Home buildings on and off campus.Supervise maintenance of all CCH equipment.Oversee tasks such as painting, moving furniture, and setting up for special events/functions.Supervise general care and maintenance of CCH vehicles.Supervise upkeep of grounds, including snow removal and swimming pool maintenance.Assign daily tasks and prioritize work orders.Keep leadership updated on project status and outstanding work orders.Assist leadership with planning future facility needs as part of capital expenditure planning.Contact, schedule, and manage contractors, vendors, and service technicians for repairs.Perform general maintenance duties in all CCH buildings on and off campus.Complete routine maintenance of equipment.Maintain grounds, vehicles, and other facilities as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the IT and Facilities Director.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance and repairSupervisory Experience Strongly PreferredValid Illinois Drivers LicenseStrong knowledge of general maintenance, repair, and building systemsAbility to prioritize work orders and manage multiple projectsAbility to work collaboratively with staff and contractorsPhysical Work EnvironmentWork is performed both indoors and outdoorsRegular walking across campus buildingsAbility to lift and carry up to 60 poundsUse of maintenance equipment, lawn equipment, and agency vehiclesBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceHoliday PayPaid LeaveGarner Health Paytient Card Healthcare Navigation and Medical Cost Savings BenefitsFlexible Spending Account (FSA) Dependent Care Account (DCA)Accident, Short-Term Disability, and Critical Illness Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with up to a 6% Company MatchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Wellness ProgramRelocation AssistanceEmployee Referral Program
