OverviewThe Materials & Trim Development Coordinator supports the development and commercialization of trims and materials that meet Pact’s strict quality standards across all product categories. Working closely with Design and Development, this role supports new developments and execution for concept and seasonal projects. The role will help deliver materials that reflect our brand's commitment to sustainability, while aligning with product strategy, cost targets, quality standards, and timelines. For more information, visit https://wearpact.com/about.Location / Reporting· Location: Boulder, CO (Hybrid)· Reports to: Director of Product Development & MaterialsResponsibilitiesSupport development and commercialization of trims and packaging materials in partnership with Design and Development teamsExecute development activities in line with established processes, timelines, and quality standardsPartner with Sourcing, Production and QA teams to initiate and track material testing, troubleshoot and resolve quality issuesCreate, maintain, and publish material data sheets (MDS)Ensure all required artwork, MDS, and test reports are uploaded into PLM and other shared tracking locationsMaintain and review development trackers, highlighting risks and late addsRequest proto sample materials across all product categoriesCoordinate with suppliers on sampling and development deliverablesSupport cross-functional meetings and communicationMaintain the physical and digital trims and materials librariesAbout You:College or university degree in fashion design, material design or material engineering1-2 years’ work experience in apparel industry, preferably in a Materials roleAttention to detail, problem solving capabilities, multi-taskingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic workflowAbility to work collectively in a team and independentlyStrong attention to detailKnowledge of different material constructions inclusive of knit and wovensAbility to anticipate problems, offers solutions, and address issuesEffective communicator, verbal and writtenExcellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads, meet critical deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same timePrevious experience in MS Office, Illustrator, and PLM is a plusCore commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibilityCompensation· Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 per year; bonus opportunity up to 10% of salary*· Comprehensive health benefits, partially company sponsored· Additional benefits details available upon request*This is a good-faith estimate of the salary range; final compensation will be commensurate with experience.Apply here: https://forms.gle/5HpjqdrnzDwow6sD8
