Location: Somers, CT (On-Site)Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly | Non-ExemptAbout the RoleGrower Direct Farms is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to support high-volume recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations for our greenhouse and field-based workforce.This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for getting employees hired quickly, onboarded correctly, and supported throughout their employment. You will work directly for the Head of Human Resources and play a key role in maintaining efficient HR processes.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & OnboardingPost jobs, screen applicants, and coordinate interviewsConduct new hire onboarding and orientationPrepare and process new hire documentation and personnel filesEnsure compliance with I-9 and onboarding requirementsHR Operations & Employee SupportMaintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce NowAnswer employee and supervisor HR questions (policies, benefits, payroll support)Assist with employee offboarding and termination processesSupport benefits enrollment during open enrollmentSafety & ComplianceLead safety-related administrative functionsServe as primary contact for injury reporting and trackingMaintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirementsAdministrative SupportAssist payroll processing and coordination as neededSupport office operations during peak periods (phones, visitors, general admin tasks)QualificationsRequired2+ years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting, or onboardingCurrent experience using ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll system)Bilingual English/Spanish (required)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailPreferredExperience supporting hourly, seasonal, or high-volume workforcesBackground in agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, or field operationsExperience with training, onboarding programs, or safety initiativesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay (based on experience)Full-time, stable employmentOpportunity for growth and increased responsibilityWhy Join UsGrowing organization with consistent demandDirect impact on hiring and workforce operationsClear expectations and hands-on leadershipOpportunity to build HR experience in a high-volume environment
