Position: Oracle Database AdministratorCompensation: $ 110000 - 140000 annually, depending on experienceLocation: Tulsa, OklahomaInceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join their team!This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on Oracle DBA to take ownership of a critical production environment and make a visible difference from day one. You’ll join a small, collaborative Database Services team supporting a two-node RAC cluster with Data Guard standby, where stability, performance, and thoughtful execution are top priorities. The team is looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving system health, and building a strong operational foundation for the future.Key Responsibilities & Duties:Administer production Oracle databases in a RAC and Data Guard environmentMonitor performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager, AWR, ASH, and ADDMTune SQL execution plans, indexing, and storage usageManage backup, recovery, patching, and version planningSupport storage, tablespace, and capacity planning needsResolve incidents, root causes, and recurring production issuesReview security settings, user access, and password policiesPartner with development and infrastructure teams on changesDocument procedures, standards, and operational runbooksRequired Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience in production environmentsStrong Oracle 19c or comparable recent version experienceProduction experience with Oracle RAC and Data GuardStrong SQL and PL/SQL skillsExperience using Oracle Enterprise ManagerWorking knowledge of AWR, ASH, ADDM, and execution plansAbility to diagnose and resolve performance issues independentlyComfort working in a small team with broad ownershipNice to Have Skills & Experience: Oracle patching and upgrade planning experienceExperience with SQL Plan Management and SQL ProfilesKnowledge of partitioning and large table reorganizationConnection pool administration experienceExperience with Oracle APEX or ORDSExposure to infrastructure or storage migrationsExperience building documentation and operational runbooksOracle Certified Professional certificationPerks & Benefits:This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.Other Information:Hybrid schedule expected, with three in-office days per weekPrimary focus is finding someone in TulsaAlternative location consideration may be possible in the Phoenix/Tempe areaThe role supports production-critical systems and ongoing modernization effortsExternal DBA vendor support will be involved in infrastructure migration workIf you are interested in learning more about the Oracle Database Administrator opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
