We pride ourselves on reliable delivery, technical expertise, and a commitment to helping our customers succeed.Position Summary:We are currently seeking a Paint Systems Specialist for the Watertown, SD market. This role is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating material orders, and supporting customer body shop operations to ensure efficient workflow and high service standards. This role serves as a key liaison between the store, warehouse, and customer locations, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and strong customer relationships. The Paint Systems Specialist ensures accuracy in order fulfillment, compliance with safety regulations, and professionalism in all customer interactions while supporting overall store operations.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain inventory levels at assigned customer locations, identifying low stock, missing items, and future material needsReview usage trends and anticipate demand based on workflow and volumePrepare and submit accurate material orders, ensuring correct quantities, part numbers, and special instructionsCoordinate with store and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillmentAssist in preparing and organizing materials for delivery, verifying accuracy of items and quantitiesCommunicate any backorders, discrepancies, or issues to appropriate teams in a timely mannerBuild and maintain strong relationships with technicians and painters at assigned locationsIdentify, document, and communicate special requests or unique material needsProvide updates on order status and delivery timelines as neededMaintain accurate records of inventory, orders, deliveries, and customer interactionsReport missing items, damaged goods, or customer concerns promptlyMaintain a clean, organized work environment and company vehicle (if applicable) Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous industry experience preferred; warehouse or distribution is a plus.Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpfulStrong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently while following structured routes and procedures.Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices preferred.Key Competencies:Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillmentStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsPunctual, dependable, and able to work independentlyOperational awareness and inventory supportSafety compliance and accountabilityCommunication and professionalismRepresent the company in a professional and customer-focused manner at all timesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced retail/field environment
