Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Location: Irvine, CA (100% On-Site)
Compensation: $110,000 - $165,000 plus discretionary bonus

Savage Search Associates has been exclusively engaged to identify a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a leading medical device company headquartered in Irvine, CA. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact finance role created following the retirement of a 25-year veteran . * Partner with leadership to build long-term financial models supporting company strategy and initiatives.
* Provide executive-level reporting and insights on income, expenses, and earnings.
* Oversee financial planning for global operations, including transfer pricing and FX considerations.
* Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiency through tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
* Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, presenting financial insights and recommendations.
* Progressively assume management of direct reports and play a key role in developing team talent.Candidate Profile
Industry Experience* Required: Medical Device industry (Class I-III); Class II experience preferred.
* Related experience (biotech, pharma) may be considered.Technical & Financial Acumen* 7+ years of progressive finance/FP&A experience in a growth-oriented environment.
* Strong knowledge of general ledger, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
* Experience with international entities, transfer pricing, and FX management.
* Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI; Dynamics 365 experience highly desirable.Education & Skills* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (online degrees acceptable).
* Executive presence with strong communication skills; confident presenting to C-suite and ownership.
