Position Highlights: Location: Near Cameron, Arizona Duration: Start date on November 29, 2024, with shifts scheduled in late November and late December Shifts Available: November 29: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm December 26: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm December 27: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Schedule: 12-hour shifts during day or swing hours, no block scheduling Environment: Hospital setting, working alongside an experienced team of healthcare providers Job Responsibilities: Operating Room Coverage: Main OR with 11 operating rooms plus 2 additional rooms in an ambulatory center Approximately 50-60 cases handled daily Case Types: Diverse caseload, including orthopedic and orthopedic trauma, general surgery, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy Charting: EMR Systems used: Cerner and SaAnesthesia Department Support: Collaborative work environment with skilled teams across multiple surgical specialties Credentialing and Requirements: Certifications: BLS and ACLS are mandatory NBCRNA certification required Licensing: Active Arizona CRNA license required; interstate medical licensure compact (IMLC) not applicable DEA License: Required Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days for complete processing Additional Facility Information: Hospital Size: 317-bed acute care hospital, equipped with advanced surgical technology and services COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination: COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions considered Compensation: Overtime: Overtime applicable for hours worked beyond scheduled shift This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for a CRNA looking to make a positive impact in a high-functioning healthcare facility without the burden of overnight or on-call shifts.
