Senior Project Manager - Finance Systems Transformation

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a financial services-focused organization, is seeking a skilled Workday Project Manager. This role is responsible for leading governance and delivery oversight for an Adaptive Planning optimization initiative integrated with Workday Financials, while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and third-party implementation partners. The ideal candidate brings strong PMO discipline, enterprise financial systems implementation experience, and the ability to drive post-go-live stabilization and roadmap planning initiatives.Job DutiesLead project governance activities for an enterprise Adaptive Planning optimization initiativeManage project timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and executive-level status reportingCoordinate cross-functional business, finance, and technology stakeholders throughout project deliveryPartner closely with third-party implementation teams to ensure alignment on scope, deliverables, and executionOversee audit readiness activities, including documentation, traceability, artifact management, and compliance reportingFacilitate UAT planning, testing coordination, defect tracking, and post-production stabilization effortsDrive change management and communication planning across impacted business groupsSupport roadmap planning and long-term sustainment activities for enterprise financial planning platformsSkills Required7+ years of enterprise Project Management experience within formal PMO environmentsMust have financial implementation experienceExperience leading financial systems, ERP, or enterprise planning platform implementationsStrong governance experience, including risk management, audit compliance, artifact collection, and executive reportingFP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning domain experienceExperience supporting enterprise integrations across financial systemsExperience managing enterprise-scale cross-functional stakeholders and steering committeesExposure to Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, or comparable enterprise financial platformsExperience coordinating UAT, end-to-end testing, and post-go-live stabilization activitiesStrong understanding of enterprise change management and delivery governance practicesBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
