If you are a skilled and dedicated RN who excels under pressure and is ready to take on the rewards and challenges of emergency medicine, we invite you to join us and contribute to a team where your expertise truly matters.ResponsibilitiesAssessment & PrioritizationPerforms accurate and thorough patient assessments to determine clinical needs and prioritize care appropriately.Conducts risk assessments to identify potential complications and initiates timely interventions.Specimen Collection & ProcessingCollects correct and adequate blood and urine specimens as ordered by physicians, following proper techniques and safety procedures.Accurately labels specimens and completes all required processing steps to ensure integrity and traceability.Ensures appropriate and timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory, coordinating courier transport or outside‑agency pickup when required.Documentation & CommunicationMaintains clear, complete, and timely documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe and coordinated care.Clinical Problem‑SolvingApplies strong problem‑solving skills to evaluate situations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions in a fast‑paced environment.Equipment Operation & Skill ProficiencyOperates clinical equipment safely and competently, ensuring proper function and reporting malfunctions promptly.Maintains proficiency in required clinical procedures and adheres to established standards of practice.Medication SafetyDemonstrates safe medication practices, including accurate administration, monitoring, and adherence to all medication safety protocols.Teamwork & InitiativeWorks collaboratively within the healthcare team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.Demonstrates initiative by anticipating needs, taking proactive steps to support workflow, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.QualificationsMinimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.PALS within 6 months requiredTNCC within 1 year requiredCompletion of Baby Friendly Education within 6 months of hireEPIC preferred Credentials RN - Registered NurseBLS - Basic Life Saving certificationACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life SupportNIH - Stroke Certification Education Graduate of an accredited nursing school Entry USD $36.20/Hr.
