This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across the organization. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will provide critical insights and recommendations to senior management, helping to shape strategic decisions and optimize financial performance.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Forecasting:Lead the development and continuous improvement of the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Prepare and maintain detailed financial models that support annual and quarterly forecasts.Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable insights and recommendations for course correction.Financial Analysis & Reporting:Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.Develop and monitor financial dashboards and reports for senior management.Strategic Support:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform strategic planning, resource allocation, and business development opportunities.Assist in evaluating M&A opportunities, including financial due diligence and integration planning.Support the development of long-term financial strategies in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.Leverage financial systems and tools to streamline reporting, forecasting, and analysis activities.Business Partnering:Serve as a key financial advisor to business units, providing insights and recommendations to drive performance and achieve financial goals.Work closely with department heads to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and evaluate investment opportunities.Compliance & Governance:Ensure financial planning and analysis processes comply with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Participate in internal audits and contribute to risk management and internal control activities.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.Experience:5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of success in a senior role.Experience in a remote work environment is preferred.Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.Experience with data analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.Analytical Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Communication Skills:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.Personal Attributes:Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Adaptable and open to change, with a continuous improvement mindset.ROMA Hired is an equal opportunity employer.
