This dynamic position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with regional automotive dealerships to identify workforce needs and create meaningful employment opportunities for students. The position coordinates recruitment efforts by connecting students with dealership partners and serves as the primary liaison between employers and the department chair to ensure clear communication regarding employer expectations, student readiness, and program alignment. Responsibilities also include monitoring and communicating student performance, attendance, and professionalism to employer partners, as appropriate, while reinforcing program standards and expectations. The individual will track placement outcomes, employer feedback, and student progress to support continuous program improvement and data-driven decision-making. In addition, the role organizes employer engagement activities such as site visits, guest speakers, hiring events, and advisory input sessions, while also supporting students with job readiness activities including resume development, interview preparation, and workplace expectations in collaboration with faculty. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Special AssignmentsMay be required to perform other duties as assigned.
