Security Officer

Duties Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards. Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by implementing appropriate conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Enforce loss prevention strategies by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure thorough documentation for future reference. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm protocols. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary. Familiarity with security procedures and loss prevention techniques. Excellent observational skills combined with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
