Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in home repairs and maintenance, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of residential properties, providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Install fixtures such as lights, faucets, and cabinets as needed. Troubleshoot issues with appliances and home systems, providing effective solutions. Perform routine inspections of properties to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Document completed work and report any additional repairs needed to management. Requirements Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues independently. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites.
