Here at The Hartford, you'll find every opportunity to achieve your professional goals while empowering others to reach theirs.This position features a Hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance in Alpharetta, GA or King of Prussia, PA three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).Key Responsibilities:Sales Support: Collaborate with Underwriters in the sales acquisition process through services like account coordination, policy preparation, and essential support. Become the essential liaison for agents and regional office Account Managers, fostering clear communication and resolving inquiries efficiently.Workload/Desk Management: Oversee a high volume of transactions while ensuring quality and timeliness. Balance daily activities effectively and maintain an organized workflow that is easy for colleagues to follow. Keep meticulous records to enhance efficiency.Required Competencies:Strategic Alignment: Stay informed about industry trends and organizational strategies. Align your tasks with team goals and company initiatives.Autonomous & Critical Thinking: Manage your time wisely and adapt to changing priorities while supporting office goals.Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with agents and colleagues, demonstrating integrity and respect in every interaction.Customer Focus: Address customer inquiries with urgency, establishing credibility and professionalism in all communications.Effective Communication: Practice active listening and articulate information clearly. Tailor your communication style to suit diverse audiences.Qualifications:Previous experience in the Commercial Market Insurance industry as an Account Manager or similar role at an insurance carrier/agency is essential.Solid understanding of commercial primary insurance coverages, including General Liability, Excess, and Umbrella.Proficiency in commercial lines rating and strong customer service skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong technological aptitude and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.A professional demeanor and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.Reliable high-speed internet access at home is a must; specific requirements detailed in the job posting.Compensation:The annual base salary for this role ranges from $59,200 to $88,800, reflecting an analysis of similar positions in the market. Your specific compensation will be determined based on performance, skills, and demonstration of competencies.
