SME Full Stack Developer

Our Partner is currently seeking a Full Stack Web Application Developer SME to work on a suite of services that will supply users with tools to automate a wide range of enterprise-wide applications and data centric mission management applications. The candidate will be part of a team of Software Developers, ETL Developers, and Data Scientists to enhance existing production applications and build out new web services on a routinized production cadence to meet the evolving needs of users. This is an exciting opportunity for Software Developers wanting to broaden their credentials in the realm of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). Development will take place in an iterative fashion using Agile development methodology with input from all levels of stakeholders. The candidate must have the ability to communicate with project team members, user community, and leadership to assess changes and demonstrate iterative progress. This is a role within the data analytics team, but may help out other groups if the mission need is there. ResponsibilitiesIntegrate AI/ML technology into a production web applicationParticipate with iterative software development teams with adherence to all reporting requirementsDesign, develop, and unit test code for a production system and demonstration capabilitiesDevelop rapid prototypes to drive out requirements and designProvide demonstrations and detailed walk through of features to a variety of technical and non-technical audiencesMeet with stakeholders, analyze requirements, develop user stories, and translate these into software development tasksDevelop technical documentation and briefing materials to support program status reviews, control gates, and other presentations as directedWrite and maintain technical documentation for application workflows, integrations, and compliance proceduresOptimize and enhance application performance, ensuring scalability and security RequirementsTS/SCI FSP ClearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or other relevant field and minimum of six years of experience (Master's degree equates to an additional 2 years of relevant work experience)Minimum 8-10 years building web applications and UX/UI frameworks using Angular, React or JavaScript with specific examples. Java Spring framework is a plus.Minimum 6-8 years working in Linux Operating systemMinimum 6-8 years of demonstrated ability in microservices up to and including docker, podman, and or containerization servicesMinimum 4-6 years of demonstrated experience with development and deployment of applications in the Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) environment or an Amazon Web Services cloud environment. Willing to consider to substitute C2S if candidate has a minimum 4-6 years of cloud computing technology to include Azure, Oracle, Google, etc.Minimum 4-6 years in Object Oriented programming. Python is preferred software development language, but would consider Java, JavaScript, C#, SQL, etc.Minimum 2-4 years of demonstrated ability to design, develop, test and implement new applications based on project requirementsMinimum 2-3 years of demonstrated experience with search & analytic tools. Examples to include ElasticSearch, Solr, OpenSearchMinimum 2-3 years of demonstrated (Extract, Transform, Load - ETL) with large structured and unstructured raw data setsThe ability to work individually as well as the ability to work in project teams.
