Most importantly, RHINO’s exhibit humility, as in order for the business to succeed here, it takes EVERYONE!Do YOU have what it takes to be a Diamonds Direct RHINO??Essential Job ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Store Support:Deliver a consistent, high‑quality in‑store customer experience aligned with company service standardsGreet and assist walk‑in customers in a professional and welcoming mannerAnswer incoming customer calls and direct inquiries appropriatelySupport customers with merchandise pickups, service questions, and general store needsMaintain a clean, organized, and brand‑aligned front‑of‑house environmentRepair Intake & Customer Service Execution:Receive and document all customer jewelry requiring repairVerify item details, condition, warranty status, and required servicesComplete accurate and thorough repair intake forms, pictures and notesCommunicate repair expectations, timelines, and status updates using approved systemsTrack repair progress to ensure timely completionSafeguard customer items through proper handling, storage, and chain‑of‑custody proceduresPerform quality checks prior to repair release to ensure company standards are metOrder & Fulfillment Execution:Execute Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Buy Online Ship to Store (BOSS) fulfillment processesSupport layaway, repair, and special order execution at the store levelPerform quality control checks on merchandise and validate order accuracyReceive stock and memo inventory created by Central OperationsEnsure proper documentation, system updates, and store handling of all inventory receivedInventory & Asset Stewardship:Perform physical inventory counts and support inventory auditsComplete daily inventory tracking and reconciliation activitiesSupport warranty management and documentation processesMaintain organized shop and inventory storage areasAssist with ongoing inventory maintenance and shop organizationRemove donation merchandise from inventory in accordance with company proceduresAdministrative & Operational Support:Complete store‑level administrative tasks required for daily operationsMaintain accurate logs, reports, and operational documentationOrder office supplies and branded materials as neededSupport store‑level expense awareness and limited, approved purchasingFollow established SOPs, operational controls, and documentation standardsBrand & Business Support:Support store‑level brand initiatives and approved in‑store or local events as neededEnsure store presentation and merchandise appearance remain aligned with brand standardsCommunicate internal initiatives, goals, or updates as directed by leadershipCompliance & Cross‑Functional Coverage:Adhere to all operational procedures, safety requirements, and company policiesIdentify and escalate inventory, repair, order, or process exceptions to leadershipProvide flexible operational coverage across customer service, store operations, and administrative needsPartner with Central Operations to ensure alignment between store execution and centralized processesQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent1–3 months of retail, customer service, or operations support experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced retail environmentBasic proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft 365 toolsMust be able to work SaturdaysPreferred:Experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or high‑value merchandise environmentsFamiliarity with POS, inventory, order, or repair management systemsKey Competencies:Customer & Brand FocusOperational AccuracyInventory StewardshipCommunication & Follow‑ThroughTime Management & OrganizationFlexibility & AdaptabilityWork Environment & Physical Demands:Retail environment with moderate noise levelsAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsRegular use of hands, vision, and communication skillsCombination of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and occasional bending or kneelingDon't forget, we have many opportunities available on our other career site pages.
