Scale Operator & Customer Service Representative

Radius Recycling is seeking a *Truck Scale Operator (TSO)* to play a critical role in our recycling operations. In this position, you'll interact directly with customers, process incoming and outgoing material, coordinate with operations teams, and help keep our yard running safely and efficiently. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a hands-on industrial environment, we want to hear from you. *What You'll Do* * Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service * Weigh, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing scrap material loads * Identify and grade materials while ensuring compliance with company standards * Direct customers to unloading locations and answer questions regarding accepted materials and pricing * Process transactions accurately and generate payment tickets * Complete required documentation and DMV paperwork * Communicate material quality and pricing information to customers and operations teams * Monitor scale operations and report equipment issues promptly * Help maintain a safe, efficient, and organized work environment *Qualifications* * 3-5 years of experience in: Scale operations, Recycling or scrap metal industry, Warehouse, logistics, transportation, or industrial operations * Strong customer service and communication skills * Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions and documentation * Basic computer and data entry skills * Strong math and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions * Ability to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers *Work Environment* This is not a typical office position.
