Business Office Specialist

Job Description Southeastern Directions for Life has an immediate opening for a full-time Business Office Specialist at our Summit location. Our mission is "Empowering people to discover their directions for life in a changing world."JOB SUMMARY: Exempt position responsible for processing insurance claims, tracking outstanding balances, and resolving claim denials in a timely manner. Communicates effectively with patients and insurance providers to address billing inquiries and ensure accurate claim resolution. Prepares and distributes monthly patient billing statements and maintains up-to-date client records within the EHR system. Performs additional administrative and billing duties as assigned, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required; 1-2 years of applicable experience preferred. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently and keep information confidential, and the ability to work well with others.
