Bergen County, NJ (Hybrid)A mid-size law firm in Bergen County is seeking an experienced Managing Clerk to support attorneys and legal staff with court filings, docketing, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This is a key operational role requiring strong knowledge of court rules and filing procedures, particularly in New Jersey and New York.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of filing and e-filing in federal, state, and local courtsReview legal documents for compliance with applicable court rules and filing requirementsMaintain and oversee docketing and calendaring across multiple jurisdictionsTrack deadlines and ensure timely filings and court submissionsServe as a resource to attorneys and staff on court procedures and rule changesCoordinate with courts, clerks, and external vendors as neededQualifications:Strong knowledge of federal, state & local court rules - particularly New Jersey, and New York, RequiredProven experience with filing/e-filing, RequiredExperience with docketing/calendaring across multiple jurisdictions, RequiredHighly organized with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsCompensation & Benefits:Salary up to $125,000 (non-exempt, DOE)Eligible for a discretionary year-end bonusHybrid schedule: 3 days onsite after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period
