Position Overview
As a key member of our team, you will lead and execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with minimal oversight. You will work closely with project teams to overcome challenges, meet client needs, and mentor junior staff. Your role will involve managing clients, projects, an internal team, business development, and ensuring deliverable quality.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all work with a focus on safety
Manage client relationships, business development, and ensure deliverable quality for multiple clients
Mentor and develop junior staff
Maintain project schedules and budget expectations
Work with CDH staff and technical leads to manage projects, including soil sampling, excavation oversight, groundwater monitoring, stormwater programs, SPCC programs, LDAR monitoring, and due‑diligence projects primarily for oil and gas clients in the Rocky Mountain region
Required Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of oil and gas processes and regulations or other related/adjacent industries
Experience managing multiple projects while adapting to changing requirements
Ability to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures
Experience managing field teams and project personnel to collect data and generate deliverables per regulations and client objectives
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field
At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, including 6 years of project management experience
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Broad environmental compliance knowledge for oil and gas clients (SPCC Plans, SWPPP, soil and groundwater sampling and remediation, baseline groundwater sampling, etc.)
Detailed knowledge of oil and gas regulatory requirements in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and/or Wyoming
Knowledge of air quality basics applicable to oil and gas clients
Professional license (PE or PG)
Client management and/or business development experience
