Timing: 5 AM-1.30 PM and 2 PM- 10.30 PM Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator/Assembler and become a vital part of producing high-quality products through precision machine operation and assembly. In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of industrial equipment, including CNC lathes, press brake machines, and plastics molding systems, ensuring efficient production while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Your expertise in mechanical systems, measurement techniques, and materials handling will drive our manufacturing excellence forward. Duties Operate and monitor machinery such as CNC lathes, press brake machines, plastics blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion equipment to produce components that meet specifications. Perform setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment using hand tools, measurement instruments, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measurement tools and dimensional measurement techniques to ensure products meet quality standards. Assemble parts and components accurately according to engineering drawings and work instructions, utilizing hand tools and assembly techniques. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure smooth materials flow within the production area. Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, measurements, and quality checks for compliance and continuous improvement. Follow safety protocols rigorously to promote a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC machines, robotic systems, or plastics production equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with plastics processing methods including blow molding, injection molding, extrusion, and plastics production experience preferred. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and quality control processes. Experience with dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments for quality inspection purposes. Knowledge of safety procedures related to machine operation and materials handling in an industrial setting. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is highly desirable. Excellent hand tool skills combined with a solid understanding of machining processes such as machining and CNC operations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed work instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
