Position DetailsPosition InformationPosition Title PT Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department DCOM CLINICAL MEDICINE Position Category Faculty Part Time Job DescriptionThe Part Time Assistant Professor of Family Medicine will be directly responsible for teaching LMU-DCOM approved curriculum, clinical duties, and scholarly activity. The faculty member shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department. Lead and facilitate skills labs for residents and students at our GME partner institutions, ensuring hands-on, competency-based learning experiences as needed. Design and deliver structured procedural training sessions to enhance residents and students clinical competencies as needed.Required Qualifications* D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Family Medicine and OMM; and *able to be licensed in Tennessee by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board.Preferred Qualifications* D.O. degree and able to be licensed in Tennessee by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination; *minimum of 5 years experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership.
