Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Electrician Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is growing, and the key to this growth is having the best team in the industry! We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician who is looking to grow with the industry leader.The Electrician is responsible for installing and/or maintaining a variety of approved wiring methods for the distribution of electrical light, heat, power, radio, and signaling utilization systems in existing or new buildings under construction.Primary Duties: Interpret drawings and communicate drawings to apprenticesPromote positive leadership and a positive work environmentUtilize wiring diagrams and plans to complete the project per specificationsShadows a Foreman to continue understanding and learning the tradeInstall conduit and pipes and run electrical conductors.Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and terminates conductors.Maintains a clean and safe working environmentMaintains constant communication with the Journeyman, Foreman, and SuperintendentQualifications and Experience: High School Diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseMust have a current Texas Journeyman license4-year experience minimumMust be a good communicator, verbal and writtenMust be self-motivated, hardworking, and reliableMust have general knowledge of electricity and the desire to advanceMust be able to pass E-Verify, background check, physical and drug screenAble to work in fast-paced environments and accomplish tasks in a timely mannerWork well in a team environmentElectrical tools requiredKilgore Industries, LP offers competitive compensation packages, weekly direct deposited paychecks, paid company holidays, 401K plan, as well as health benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/ AD&D, STD, LTD, and supplemental life insurance.
