Together with our 500 colleagues in 14 countries, we strive for a future with no waste.As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering automation solutions for Evac’s projects and products. Reporting to the Automation and Electrical Engineering Manager in Espoo, Finland, you’ll work in a global environment, collaborating with diverse teams to develop innovative solutions that support our sustainability vision.What You’ll DoDesign automation systems for assigned delivery projectsProvide high-quality automation for product developmentOffer technical support to projects, product development, and stakeholdersCollaborate with project teams to meet requirements and deadlinesDevelop Evac’s automation design standards and processesTravel for factory/site acceptance tests and troubleshootingWhat We’re Looking ForM.Sc. or B.Sc. in Automation Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Engineer delivering process equipmentStrong PLC programming skills (Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC, Omron; others a plus)Familiarity with PDM systems (Jira, Windchill)Knowledge of marine industry engineering requirementsExperience with EPLAN and AutoCAD (others a plus)Understanding of process automation and components (motors, pumps, valves, instruments, blowers, conveyors)Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environmentFull proficiency in EnglishProactive, organized, and a team player with a can-do attitudeWhy Join Us?A highly interesting role in a global settingOpportunity to help achieve our vision of a future with no wasteInclusive and safe workplace culture where colleagues trust and support each otherReady to make an impact?
