MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - ROVING & SITE-BASED POSITION

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment communities by providing a quality living environment for our residents at all times. This unique hybrid role combines roving responsibilities with site-based work. This position will spend two days per week rotating between properties based on portfolio needs and three days per week at The Artemis property located in Arlington, MA. This individual travel primarily between Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.As a Maintenance Technician (MT), your primary responsibilities include:Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenanceResolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairInstalling, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility equipmentPreparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvementsPreserving the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and ground maintenanceProviding residents with outstanding customer service at all propertiesRecognizing potential problems and taking appropriate actionTraveling to different sites in the NE portfolio (2 days per week roving)Maintaining consistent presence at The Artemis (3 days per week)Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after-hour emergenciesOperates within OSHA standards and company safety policiesWhat You Bring to Us:Experience in maintenance preferred and/or 1-2 years of experience preferredBeginner to intermediate proficiency preferred but not required in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repairAbility to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple locationsAvailability for emergency situations at multiple properties, including an on-call rotationPersonal, reliable transportation to travel between properties and respond to on-call emergenciesGood communication skills both written and verbalBasic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programsComfortable working at different properties with varying needs and layoutsThis role requires consistent weekend availability and flexibility for emergency situationsWhat We Bring You:The Dolben Company is a dynamic real estate company with a family inspired culture developing and managing best in class communities throughout NE, Mid-Atlantic and Southwest FL.
