Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing and optimizing microservices, and using the Spring Framework to build scalable, secure backend solutions. The role involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with other developers, testers, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality features. The Java Developer will also contribute to technical documentation, follow best practices for software development, and stay current with evolving Java and backend technologies.Qualifications programming skills with Java and related backend technologies.Experience in software development, including design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.Knowledge of microservices architecture and practical experience building or integrating microservices.Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services with front-end or third-party systems.Understanding of version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to write clean, testable code and use unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit) and related tools.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and documenting technical solutions.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
