You'll find that the people here are genuinely good, and they work hard because they believe in what they're building together.This RoleResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a small, close-knit team that takes its work seriously and genuinely enjoys working together. This is a hands-on role anchored in accounts payable, month-end close, and general ledger management. A solid framework is already in place, and we need someone who can own it, run it with consistency, and make it better over time. If you are the kind of person who finds satisfaction in a clean close and a reconciled balance sheet, you will feel at home here. Responsibilities include:Accounts Payable and Expense Management (30%)Post vendor invoices and expense reimbursements accurately and on scheduleSupport expense reporting and reimbursement workflowsMaintain organized vendor records and support payment runsMonth-End Close (30%)Own the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing schedules and reconciling accountsDraft preliminary financial reports and support variance and budget-to-actual analysesReconcile bank accountsBalance Sheet and General Ledger (22%)Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy and consistencyPost journal entries and ensure general ledger accounts are properly supported and documentedMaintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedulesAccounts Receivable (8%)Generate and distribute invoices, track incoming payments, and maintain accurate AR recordsMonitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances professionally and on scheduleReconcile the AR subledger to the general ledger regularlyAudit and Compliance (5%)Compile documentation and schedules for audits and respond to auditor inquiriesMaintain organized, audit-ready records at all timesReporting and Special Projects (5%)Prepare cash flow forecasts and ad hoc financial analyses as neededSupport budgeting and forecasting processes and identify process improvements as the school's financial operations continue to growPerforms other duties and special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Finance & Operations.Required QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
