A facility near Philadelphia, PA, is seeking coverage to meet the needs of an increasing patient volume. This assignment offers a mix of inpatient care, call coverage, and procedural work, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced providers. Assignment Highlights Start Date: 11/25/2024Duration: Ongoing, with initial commitment through 02/01/2025, extendable.Location: Near Philadelphia, PA.Practice Setting: Inpatient, with no outpatient responsibilities.EMR System: Epic (experience preferred). Schedule and Coverage Weekday Rounding: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM at one hospital per day.Night Call: 5 PM - 7 AM (phone consultations only).Weekend Call and Rounding: Includes calls and in-person rounding both Saturday and Sunday. Weekend shifts run from Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM.Call Ratio: 1:5. Patient and Procedural Details Patients Per Day: Hospital census averages 20-25 with support from 2 NPs and residents.Procedures Required:Echocardiograms (including TEE).Nuclear Stress Tests.Vascular Studies.Specialty Skills Needed: Non-invasive cardiology expertise, including TEE and diagnostic imaging. Requirements Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS.Licensure: Must hold an active Pennsylvania license.Board Status: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.Fellowship: Required.Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days (temporary privileges available for qualified candidates).
