Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and MaintenanceSpring and Wire Product ManufacturingEngine, Turbine, and Power Transmission Equipment ManufacturingAmusement Parks and ArcadesNonresidential Building ConstructionElectro-Mechanical Assembler IIIJob Category: Manufacturing Requisition Number: ELECT001672Full-Time On-siteAscential Medical & Life Sciences Blaine, MN 55449, USAJob DetailsDescriptionEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the assembly, wiring, and testing of highly complex electro-mechanical systems, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.Fit and assemble components according to specifications and test for conformance to specification and operation:Align components for assembly and assemble parts using hand tools.Verify conformance of parts to prints using measuring instruments.Assemble, set up and operate machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities and conformance.Form and fasten pneumatic and hydraulic lines, fixtures and attachments required to service machines with air, water and oil.May install wiring and electrical components to specifications.Debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems affecting proper operation.Fabricates and modifies parts as required:Layout hole locations: drill and tap holes on parts for assembly.Set up and operate metalworking machines to fabricate or modify parts.Completes routing and plumbing to junction boxes, maintain electrical panels and terminals:Fabricates brackets for mounting boxes.Diagnose and resolve complex issues in the assembly process, providing guidance to other team members.Troubleshoots, debugs, and modifies electrical systems as appropriate:Uses electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter, scopemeters, and ac/dc probes to assess problems and make any required changes.Assists electrical engineers in troubleshooting various electrical components and systems of the machine.Runs wires and cables from components to junction boxes, main electrical panels and terminals:Make wire lists and bundles.Disassembles electrical systems on machines:Reinstalls, rewires and tests machinery at customer facilities.Perform installation, debug, repair and other field service duties that require off-site travel.Train, mentor, and supervise junior and mid-level assemblers, providing technical guidance and support.Collaborate closely with engineering teams to provide feedback on designs and suggest improvements.Salary range = $34-$40 per hourQualificationsEducationPreferredAssociates or better in Manufacturing Technology or related field.ExperienceRequiredExpert-level ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical drawings6-8 years: Experience in machining, machine building and performing machine and panel wiringEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
