Panel Builder
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled *Panel Builder* for a *6-month contract position*, with potential for full-time employment based on performance and the company’s workload and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
* Build and wire electrical control panels.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
* Install and connect electrical components.
* Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters/multimeters.
* Perform basic machining and drilling.
* Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control equipment.
* Troubleshoot wiring and electrical connections.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
* Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools.
* Ability to use measuring and electrical testing equipment.
* Basic machining skills.
* PLC/industrial automation experience preferred.
* Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
* Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed.
* Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions.
* Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
* Ability to work in a shop/warehouse environment.
Contract Opportunity
This is an initial *6-month contract*. At the end of the contract, full-time employment may be offered based on *work performance, reliability, skill level, team fit, and the company’s current workload and business needs*. Full-time employment is not guaranteed.
Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
