Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Manage food safety protocols including proper sanitation, food handling, and cleanliness of work areas. Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, and restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude during busy periods. Support team members in various roles including food prep, cashiering, and kitchen duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies. Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail math enhances the ability to succeed in this role. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales upselling opportunities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is desirable. Experience working in a café, pizza restaurant, or grocery store setting can be advantageous for understanding fast-paced food industry operations.
