AV Service Technician
We are looking for a sharp, hands-on AV Service Technician who's ready to solve problems, fine-tune high-end systems and make magic happen on customer sites. Whether in a professional sports stadium, on a college campus, or in a world-renowned casino, you will optimize systems that drive amazing customer experiences on both a preventative and reactive basis, on site and remotely. Along the way, you will keep customers, internal and external partners informed on progress as well as recommended system changes and upgrades. You will stay in sync with your manager and teammates through daily service logs, expense tracking and service contract reporting.We offer competitive pay, cutting-edge projects, crazy cool customer environments and a group of teammates that geeks out over gear just like you.QualificationsWhat you bring to the table is:Self-motivation and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your day/week/monthExpert level troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeep knowledge of AV technology, including video, audio, and control with a particular focus on digital audio and video signal attributes (HDCP, transmission limitation, etc.) and audio design.An ability to read/comprehend CAD drawings, to configure DSP systems, Crestron, QSC and ExtronKnowledge of LED walls and video processorsProficiency with MS Office SuiteDemonstrated experience with Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator and Q-sysA love for clean cable runs, crystal-clear audio and intensely high video resolutionThe ability to work safely and efficiently on the ground, on ladders and in lifts that take you multiple stories in the air.
