IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) Manager On site in Rosewell GAPosition Summary The IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) Manager is responsible for overseeing the governance, performance, and strategic alignment of IT vendors to ensure delivery of high-quality services and compliance with organizational standards. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal IT stakeholders and external vendors, driving value through effective relationships, risk management, and operational optimization.Key Responsibilities Vendor Governance & Strategy Develop and maintain vendor management policies, processes, and performance frameworksAlign vendor strategy with IT and business objectives to support transformation and efficiency initiativesContract & Compliance Management Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, with accountability for SLAs and KPIsEnsure compliance with security, privacy, and risk management requirementsPerformance Monitoring & Reporting Design and implement vendor scorecards and performance metricsLead quarterly performance reviews and provide insights to leadershipFinancial Oversight Manage vendor financial planning and cost optimization initiativesIdentify opportunities for savings through benchmarking and competitive sourcingStakeholder Engagement Act as the escalation point for vendor issues and resolutionPartner with procurement, legal, and IT teams to manage vendor lifecycle processesTechnology & Tools Drive automation and continuous improvement in vendor managementLead or support Vendor Management System (VMS) implementationsQualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)7+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or IT governanceStrong knowledge of vendor management tools and service delivery modelsProven negotiation and vendor relationship management expertiseFamiliarity with compliance frameworks and governance standardsCore Competencies Strategic thinking and problem-solvingRelationship building and communicationFinancial management and cost controlRisk management and compliance expertise
