Heavy Equipment Mechanic

BCS is seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic in the Phoenix area! Competitive wage scale, depending on experience. As a heavy equipment mechanic at BCS, your responsibilities include: Diagnosing and repairing construction equipment and commercial trucks. Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems Coordinating with superintendents to prioritize maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime Performing work duties on active job sites that may require background checks or additional training Maintain and consult maintenance records to aid in making informed repair or replacement decisions Requirements: At least 5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience Must have extensive technical knowledge of Caterpillar equipment as well as gasoline and diesel engines Valid drivers license Some heavy lifting may be required Basic computer skills Must have a clean driving record Must pass a drug test Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Experience with Cat ET software is a plus Welding/ fabrication experience is a plus Benefits: Paid time off, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and a quarterly incentive program.
