Plant Associate I

POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Plant Associate I is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line.ESSENTIAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Stand at a station along a conveyor belt doing quality control on mixed recyclables. Quickly identify non-conforming items for removal from a fixed station and safely remove them into designated chutes or bins. General warehouse cleanup at the end of each shift. Processing equipment cleanup at the end of each shift. REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIESFamiliarity with the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment like a hard hat, reflective vest, steel toe boots, ear and eye protection, utility gloves, and arm preferred.
