CNC Mill/Lathe Operator - Day Shift, OT Available (16421)
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision parts.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment)Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsPerform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustmentsMonitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiencyInspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary correctionsMaintain proper documentation of production and quality checksFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentWork collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and team membersQualifications2+ years of CNC machining experience (setup and operation preferred)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TExperience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or similar)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with precision measuring instrumentsAbility to work independently and meet production goalsPreferred SkillsExperience with multi-axis machiningKnowledge of G-code editing and basic programmingExperience working with aluminum, steel, or other metalsBackground in a manufacturing or production environmentShift & ScheduleFull-time; Hours Mon-Thurs: 6A-4P Fri: 6A-12POvertime may be available based on production needsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancement and skill development
