Project Coordinator

Job Title: Project Coordinator (Construction Industry)Location: Elk Grove Village, ILJob Type and Duration: Direct HirePay range: $45,000 - $55,000 Key Responsibilities: Assist in all phases of commercial projects, including estimating, preconstruction, execution, and close-out phases. Assist in preparation and management of project documentation such as submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), billing, change orders, and transmittals. Help develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment. Support the Project Manager in tracking project costs, including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses, to maintain budget adherence. Assist in implementing quality assurance and control measures, conducting site inspections, and ensuring work meets established standards. Facilitate communication between clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required 2+ years of experience in commercial construction related roles, with exposure to project management and estimating processes. Preferred experience with Procore, ServiceTitan, and estimating technologies. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
