Position: General Worker (Utility) Shift: 7PM-7AM (D Shift) Location: Bethel, PA Job Summary In the General Worker position, you will assist in the operation of multiple types of equipment. You will maintain quality standards and help operate the machine within acceptable levels for waste and productivity. You will maintain consumables (paper, ink, water etc.) during production. Responsibilities In this position you will load and operate the roll stand and auto splicer efficiently. You will help to maintain consistent viscosity and PH level of ink fountains when necessary and maintain all glue levels as needed as well as monitoring the thickness of the glue. You will maintain continuous operations of label applicators and assist in make ready operations, setting up printer and gluers etc., as instructed by operator. You will assist in wash ups as instructed by the operator. You will get necessary supplies for the next job ready before press shuts down. Knowledge To be successful in this position, you will need: To be able to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others an promote a positive teamwork culture. To be knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.
