Full Stack Web Developer

We're looking for solid developers, with a background working with PHP and Javascript to work out of our Stratford, CT office. The ideal candidate is a developer that is comfortable solving complex business problems with code, and likes to improve things along the way. You are always trying to learn new technologies on your own and use it towards personal projects in your daily life. Our platforms are almost entirely run on Laravel, with MySQL and MongoDB as our databases. The front end uses a heavy dose of Javascript via VueJS, and CSS via Bulma/Sass. Some static sites use NuxtJs and Netlify. There are no limits on what framework/tech to use. As long as it is clean and efficient code that gets the task done. Responsibilities Develop new features for key business systems and client portals, while assisting in support for existing features. Test new features, and bug hunt before public release. Respond to support tickets and user experience issues. Improve and refactor code as you see fit Requirements: Strong PHP and Javascript skills Experience with Laravel or Lumen frameworks Comfortable in command line environments Frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS) and decent design skills MySQL experience & MongoDB or noSQL knowledge Excellent troubleshooting skills Pluses Self-learner Experience using linux containers (Docker) Experience with VueJS or another Javascript framework NodeJS and web pack Can come into the office every now and then Company Description We are a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Social Media Marketing Company that connects brands and agencies with the web’s top influencers through Content Marketing, Social Media, Videos, and more.
