WAREHOUSE LEAD

Kent Precision Foods Group, a member of the Kent Corporation family of companies, has a great opportunity to join their team as a Warehouse Lead at their Bolingbrook, IL location on 2nd shift!This position is responsible for all daily activities involved with warehousing such as being responsible for all shipments/orders shipping out and/or material being received in. The loading or unloading of trucks, managing the warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion and conducting physical cycle counts as needed. Forklift Certification required.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees and executes daily shipping & receiving schedules.Works with Shipping & Receiving clerks to ensure inbound/outbound appointments are fulfilled.Assign Forklift Operators and contract workers to daily tasks.Monitors progress of staff efficiencies.Monitors accuracy of employees by preforming random double checks on outbound picked orders and inbound received shipments.Able to troubleshoot receiving, shipping and inventory related issues and resolve them.Works with Warehouse Supervisor/Manager and Materials Manager to accomplish any additional goals assigned to department/s for that day.Responsible to perform month end cycle counts.Auditing of bin locations (assuring items are in proper bin locations).Complete cycle counts on an as needed basis to correct inventory discrepancies.Maintain rack labeling (report bad labels and replace as needed).Auditing of Hold area items to assure product is accounted for correctly and in appropriate locations.Damaged product coordination.Gather and partial bin transfer damaged product that can be re-packaged to appropriate area.Oversees the general operation of the warehouse.Ensures warehouse is kept clean and well organized.Ensures that good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and Food safety procedures are followed in the warehouse at all times.Conduct forklift certifications.Maintains Forklift Certification.Safety Sensitive Position.All other duties as assigned.
