Lead Front End DeveloperVP in New York(Hybrid)We are seeking a Lead Front End Developer to join a front-office engineering team building and enhancing a high-performance electronic trading platform for Fixed Income and Currencies. This role focuses on delivering real-time, low-latency React-based micro front-end applications that support mission-critical trading workflows. The ideal candidate brings hands-on front-office experience and a strong understanding of server-side systems, working closely with traders, sales, quants, and global engineering teams across the full software development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and operate real-time, event-driven React micro-frontends optimized for low latency and high throughputLead front-end architecture and contribute to end-to-end, full-stack solution designWork directly with front-office stakeholders to translate trading requirements into technical solutionsCollaborate closely with backend and infrastructure teams on APIs, data models, and performance optimizationApply strong SDLC and engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, secure-by-design development, and controlled releasesPartner with global engineering teams to deliver modern, scalable solutionsProvide production support for front-office trading applicationsLeadership & CollaborationDrive technical delivery across teams and mentor junior developersCommunicate effectively with traders, sales, product managers, and technical stakeholdersCollaborate with regional and global engineering leadsRequired Skills & ExperienceProven front-office development experience in a trading or real-time financial systems environmentStrong experience building high-performance React applicationsSolid understanding of server-side development and distributed systems; Java experience strongly preferredExperience working with real-time data, event-driven architectures, and low-latency systemsStrong grasp of modern SDLC practices and engineering standardsExperience working with global or distributed teamsHybrid working model with an expectation of regular in-office presence in New YorkSalary up to $240 000
