Adecco is recruiting for a Production Operator – 3rd Shift for a client in Auburn, NY. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $21-23/hour plus shift differentialThis position will train on 1st shift before moving to 3rd shift full time. Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.This is not a typical production role. This is an opportunity for someone who likes being involved in the process, figuring things out, and taking ownership on the floor. You'll start as an operator, but will be working closely with leadership and learning the full process with the goal of growing into more responsibility over time.This role is in a manufacturing environment focused on consistent production and quality. There is a strong emphasis on attention to detail, following processes, and identifying and solving issues as they come up.Job ResponsibilitiesHelp coordinate production workflow and keep things running smoothly during the shiftMonitor production processes and troubleshoot mechanical or process issuesTrain and assist other employees on equipment and proceduresTrack production batches, inventory, and production data using computer systemsPerform quality checks and ensure product specifications are metCommunicate with maintenance, quality, and management to resolve issuesAssist with raw material handling, batching, and production setupOperate forklifts and production equipmentStep into different roles on the line as needed to support productionMaintain safety, quality, and production standardsQualificationsPrevious manufacturing or production experienceMachine operating or production line experiencePrior leadership or coordination experience is a plus, but not requiredForklift experience preferredBasic computer and Excel skills requiredMechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic issuesStrong attention to detail and qualityReliable and able to work independentlyAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and work for extended periodsWhy Apply?Competitive payStable Monday–Friday scheduleOpportunity for permanent hireClear path for growth into a lead/supervisor-type roleWork with a team that values quality and doing things the right wayPay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
